Our Story
It all started with a vision to create a picture-perfect day for a celebration!
Prerna Asrani was born and brought up in Bangalore, educated at the prestigious Mount Carmel College, and travelled every lane in the beautiful city on her bike. Always a connoisseur of finer things, she acquired a love to create perfect moments way early in life. A whole new world opened up when she moved to Chennai after marriage. With mixed feelings and experiences, with little to no familiarity with place and people, she carved a path of her own – determined and definite.
Prerna is a qualified Fashion and Interior designer who went back to her true calling of “creating perfect moments” – this time not just for herself. She started Wishing Well on a whim, 10 years ago, because she couldn’t find anyone to organize her daughter’s birthday party. From an emcee to planner to the other… and the rest like they say, is history!
Prerna and her team at Wishing Well have crafted multiple occasions & weddings to create their perfect moments and memories of a life time. Her passion is reflected in her work. For Wishing Well, your wish becomes their way – to create everlasting memories.
Prerna laughs aloud when asked, how did it all happen, and says “I just loved what I was doing and creating smiles on peoples’ faces. All else, magically fell in place”.
